Bring Love to Indigenous Tribes

"Thank you for The Mustard Seed Mission for never forgetting us, always showing up when we need it most. Lately, my job has been very unstable, so I am facing significant financial difficulties and a lack of resources." a hardworking indigenous single mother told our social worker.

In the early days of The Mustard Seed Mission (MSM), our founder, Missionary Lillian R. Dickson engaged in the tribal services, and now we still follow in her footsteps to bring love into the tribes.

The first stop is at the Indigenous Family Service Center, Pingtung County of Pingtung County undertaken by MSM. Here, we serve a group of Indigenous friends who have come to the city to seek opportunities. We provide them with a place where they can find the language, traditional crafts, and memories of their tribe. Through the social workers at the Indigenous Family Service Center, we provide supplies from the food bank to people in need. The distribution of these resources allows us to offer more diverse services.

And, we go to the Djineljepan tribe in Sandimen Township, Pingtung County, which migrated from the Paridrayan tribe and which is a tribe predominantly composed of Paiwan people. We provide services to people in need by setting up the relief supplies distribution station here.
