Heroes Get Fans, Moms Need Hands: The Superhuman Reality of Mothers

🦸We often call moms superheroes, but there’s nothing super about the reality they face.

In Taiwan, 60.98% of family caregivers are women, and they spend an average of 11.06 hours a day providing care. 35% of female caregivers are forced to leave their jobs due to the lack of childcare support, making it nearly impossible to balance work and caregiving. Many also report physical and emotional strain, including anxiety, insomnia, and chronic fatigue

While we admire mothers and caregivers like superheroes, let’s not forget: even heroes need support. This Mother’s Day, The Mustard Seed Mission is launching a heartfelt campaign — #ConnectingTaiwanWithLove #MothersDayLoveAction. We’re raising funds for “care packages” to gift to the tireless caregivers who dedicate their lives to raising our future generation.

🫶 With your support, we aim to help over 2,400 households, 52% of them single-parent, and 14% grandparent-led, gain access to enough food for stable, healthy growth and a chance to break the cycle of unequal opportunities.

Let’s offer more than just words!
