Community Food Bank

According to the data from Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration in 2010, there are 2.75 million metric tons of food wasted in Taiwan each year. If share these food for low-income households in Taiwan, it could be eaten for 20 years.

The Mustard Seed see the need and determine to set a goal of establishing one food bank distributuion station in one county and one community food bank in each township.

To establish a network of hunger-free community is the goal of the Mustard Seed Mission. The network will collect donated food and supplies and share them with people in need in the community under the mindset of no-wasting-food.

Target Group

Vulnerable families, elderly people who live alone, people in need ... and so on.
