A Broken Family

Ken would be working for living with his older brother when he was little if he didn't receive sponsorship financial aid from the children sponsorship program; because he has a father who abused him and a mother who got sick at that time.

Live with Mother

Ken's mother finally got divorced with her husband; Ken and Ken's brother were with their mother. However, Ken's mother was getting a severe disease so she couldn't able to work for a living. The family situation was getting worse under this circumstance.

Ken's brother is mature; he started to learn baking and to sell his hand-made baking products for a living. Each coin he has earned, he uses it to take care of his mother and brother. However, his small business was getting fading because of the recession.

Be their Supporter

Ken's mom told to us "for my lovely children, I will try my best to live and live it well. "

Last year, Ken's mom has diagnosed breast cancer, it made the financial situation even worst due to the heavy medical expenses. Fortunately, Ken was sponsored by children sponsorship program in the Mustard Seed Mission, so the monthly sponsorship fee and daily supplies were provided at that time to release the financial stress of the family. Besides, the social worker's regular visit and care was one of the backups for them to keep going. The social worker also applied emergency aid for them to help them to get through the hardship.

We will always stay by their side to help Ken's family.

There are more needy kids like Ken still need our support to get through their hardship…
